(stable name Edie) sired by Warrawong Dakota and out of the stud book thoroughbred mare Camille Creole, was bred by Ian and T Smith of Conondale Sunshine hinterland. Her full sister is a camp draft winner. She was lightly raced but her heart wasn’t in it and so was worked on cattle. She showed a lot of talent for mustering and cattle work. Edie was put into foal and produced a lovely dark bay filly by Mr Bracket Bar. She has produced a filly by Corral Two Up and a Paint gelding by RU Hi N Dry. She is in foal to Hot Shu Shuffle. |

(stable name Peaches) was sired by Mr Snooping Around and out of the Quarter Horse mare Grandstand Zip Pet. She was bred by Mel Cruden’s parent and became Mel’s youth horse. She won at both state and national level in Yearling Lunge line and Yearling Led Trail. She won a National title in Hunter Under Saddle and placed in many state and national events. We thank Mel for selling us this fine mare particularly after producing Just Zippin for Mel. This gelding, owned by Kim Johnson, is by Just Shameless* and has a very successful show career.
Peaches produced Missy Zippy Belle (by Irresistabelle Zip*) who has won and placed at halter at the South Australian Paint championships and at open shows. Her third foal Cipt N Zipt (stable name Smudge) was sired by Wyandah Cylip San. He is a well grown chestnut Paint Bred yearling gelding and has been handled and will be shown later in the year. He has a lovely nature and will make a great riding horse. Last season Peaches produced a lovely dark bay and white Tobero colt to Hot Shu Shuffle. Peaches is back in foal to Hot Shu Shuffle. |

She was being prepared for the PHAA National Foal Futurity when she was hurt. She has never been shown, but her foals have represented her well. Piggy was chosen by Ian and Alison Lord for her performance breeding and beautiful nature. She was purchased by Scrubby Creek when buying Dammit Janet from Boojaru Stud. Piggy has really lovely foals with lovely natures.
Her first foal was a filly called Boojaru Long Tall Sally (by Amaroo Little Bobby Lena) and has been shown successfully at halter and in ridden classes. Her second foal was bred by Scrubby Creek was a bay and white over colt called CC Hard Roc N Bandit. This colt is now owned by a young girl who is pursuing a career in showjumping. CC Hard Roc N Bandit was sired by Hard Roc N Dee Jay (Ultimate Roc Q 1662 X Shu Vandee PHAA 2823) a colt that was bred by the Carlsons and owned by the Hardgreaves of Pittsworth Qld. Piggy produced her third foal was a solid chestnut gelding by Quarter Horse

(stable name Pinky) is the stud matriarch. She is the winner of the PHAA Reining Futurity (ridden by John Howe) and the PHAA Cowhorse Futurity (ridden by Merv Carlson). She won or placed in many reining and Cowhorse events (ridden by Susan Carlson) at state and national level. She was a great mustering and yard horse and earned her living chasing cattle. She has produced many fine riding horses such as Boot Scootin Boogie, Watch Me Twist Dec’d, Just Two Twisted, A Touch Twisted, Twisted Sister, Ultimate Twister,
Twisted Warfare and Twist Dried. All have been sold on except Twisted Warfare. Watch Me Twist when he returned home was Merv’s Red Coat horse, as was Just Two Twisted. Most of Pinky’s foals were blessed with the ability to work cattle. Pinky was bred by Benwerrin Stud principal Margaret Oakden. She was foaled in 1982 and was shown at halter and holds an ROM in Halter. Her other points were never tallied by the association. She has retired and is our special guest at Scubby Creek. |
